SPECTRA/POR tubular membranes are available in a variety of nominal molecular weight cutoffs (MWCO) and carry practically no fixed charge. Use SPECTRA/POR 1-4 membranes for separations at an approximate molecular weight cutoff. Supplied dry, they contain 10% glycerol, 0.1% sulfur, and heavy metal traces (except where indicated). Wash with distilled water first. Use SPECTRA/POR 6 and 7 membranes for separations at a specified MWCO. Supplied wet in a 0.1% sodium azide preservative solution. Order tubing closures seperately. MWCO 3500 daltons.
